Samantha Hill from Greer was crowned queen for North Greenville University’s 2013 homecoming on Saturday, October 26.
NGU President, Dr. Jimmy Epting, and 2012 homecoming queen Renee Johnson crowned Hill during halftime of the Crusaders’ football game with Carson Newman.
Hill, who represented the Cheerleaders, is a mathematics major.
Abby Edwards was named first runner-up. Edwards represented the Resident Assistant Association and is an elementary education major from Richmond, VA.
NGU awarded Rebecca Pope, representing the Teacher Education Association, the second runner-up honor. She is an early childhood education major from Columbia.
The North Greenville University homecoming queen is chosen annually by the student body in a campus wide vote during the week of homecoming.
