Account Information

This page applies to Students.

Each student has a personal Crusader account with the university.  Your user ID and password will allow you to gain access to computer labs, your e-mail account, the student portal, library databases, and to Blackboard.

Your Account

Your account and password is assigned using your name and the last five digits of your social security number.

User ID:  For students, faculty, and staff joining in the spring of 2011 or later: Your last name and the last three digits of your school ID number (E.g. wayne123)

*If your last name exceeds twelve letters, it will be shortened so that your user ID will be no more than fifteen spaces.

Accounts set up in the fall of 2010: First and middle initial plus your last name (rbwayne)

Password: First initial capitalized,your middle and last initials, and the last five digits of your social security number (E.g. Rbw56789)

Students Without a Middle Name
The same pattern will apply, but you will need to substitute "x" for your middle initial.

International Students
Use the last five numbers of their Student ID number in place of a social security number.  Your student ID number can be found on your schedule, bill, or student ID card.
