Auxilio, formerly known as Women’s Auxiliary Board, is a great opportunity for women who love NGU to become involved and serve our students! The Spanish word Auxilio means assistance or help and that is exactly this organization’s mission; to help and assist our students.
Through this organization, you will have the opportunity to get to know others who are investing their lives into this university through three luncheons [Tuesday, August 29; Friday, November 3; and Tuesday, April 3, 2018] held during the academic year, become involved in the lives of our students by meeting their needs of fellowship, a home cooked meal, a birthday cake, or financial assistance with a particular personal need, help with projects that will enhance the NGU campus.
Also you will be able to contribute to the Barbara McCormick Endowment which serves to assist students with a scholarship need, help in feeding and loving on commuter students a few times during the school year, and on and on the list may go!
Auxilio simply exists to come alongside the university and help in whatever ways we can. The annual fee to be a member is only $30. If you would like more information or become a member of this organization, click the contact information tab below.
2017 - 2018
Auxilio [formerly Women's Auxiliary Board] was established in 2002 to promote the interests of North Greenville University to its members, guests, faculty, and students. The organization serves to support and promote the programs of NGU, in creating and developing awareness and goodwill in the general public, and in channeling goodwill into active support of the university. The organization is dedicated to aiding and supporting the university in its quest to afford every student a quality biblical education at a Christ-first institution. Auxilio strives to increase friends, funds, and enrollment for the university.
We encourage new and regular members of Auxilio to get involved.
Many NGU students on campus have a need for personal items, school supplies, snacks, and medicine. Auxilio donates items to help provide these needs.
The NGU Baptist Collegiate Ministry hosts a weekly luncheon for all commuter students. Auxilio serves for two of these luncheons annually.
BIRTHDAY CAKE SALES
Parents of students who are not at home for their birthday their first year of college can rest a little easier that a fresh, home-baked dessert can be ordered and delivered to the student on their birthday.
CAMPUS ENHANCEMENTS ASSISTANCE
Many of our Auxilio members have a gift for interior design, gardening, and decorating. A ministry of Auxilio is to help improve and beautify the facilities of the university.
When the Women’s Auxiliary Board, now Auxilio, first began in 2002, meeting the needs of students has always been at the heart of its existence. Even if we were doing projects to beautify the campus, it was always for the sake of students.
A new prayer partnership ministry with our members and female students will launch for the 2017-2018 school year. Once assigned a student, the prayer partner will, at a minimum, make a phone call to the student, send a note of encouragement or birthday card, and/or share a cup of coffee with her. We are not asking for a huge time commitment or financial commitment. We just would love to give you an opportunity to invest into the life of one of our young ladies.
For more information about this ministry, contact Ruth McWhite at firstname.lastname@example.org or 864.977.7030.
