The Brothers Parrini

Principal cellist of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Alberto Parrini holds degrees from the Curtis Institute and the Juilliard School, and has performed worldwide as part of the New York Philharmonic, American Chamber Players, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, the American Symphony Orchestra, the St. Lawrence and Zukofsky string quartets, and other prestigious ensembles.

His festival appearances include Evian, Tanglewood, Taos, Verbier, Ottawa, Montreal, San Miguel de Allende, Spoleto U.S.A., Music@Menlo, The Weekend of Chamber Music and the Piatigorsky seminar. He joins his brother Fabio, piano coordinator at NGU (see, for this recital featuring works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, and Kodaly.
