Announcements for the School of Music

  • The NGU Marching Crusaders will be hosting their second annual car show on Saturday, April 21, 2012 on the Fairview Baptist Church campus. Registration for this event will run from 9:00-12:00 in the morning and judging will begin at 12:00 p.m. This event will be a family friendly event with bounce houses, face painting, and more.   • Cultural Events at North Greenville University are available at http://cevt.ngu.edu. Information will be updated regularly, so be sure to visit often and stay current with the events available at NGU.

  • West Gantt First Baptist Church is looking for a pianist for Wednesday rehearsals and Sunday am and pm. The pay is about $100 a week. Please contact Adam Morgan at Musicministry13@yahoo.com

  • Travelers Rest United Methodist is looking for a Worship Leader for their Contemporary Service who will be primarily responsible for helping to plan the service and leading/performing the music for corporate worship at the 9:00 service. Contact Rick Blackwell at 864 836-6006.

  • Monaghan Baptist Church in Greenville, SC is looking for a Christ-lead person to lead music during a new Youth and College Age Service on Sunday Nights.  This person would be responsible for leading a music team and giving direction to the worship service thru music, as well as, giving support to the youth ministry of the church.  Interested individuals can email Scott FitzSimmons at scottfitz@monaghanbaptist.org to request more information on this wonderful ministry.

  • Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Easley needs an excellent keyboardist/pianist.  This is a paid position with rehearsal on Wednesday evenings and worship service at 10:30 on Sunday mornings.  The music is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles.  They have a small orchestra in addition to piano and keyboard.
