  • Travelers Rest United Methodist is looking for a Worship Leader for their Contemporary Service who will be primarily responsible for helping to plan the service and leading/performing the music for corporate worship at the 9:00 service. Contact Rick Blackwell at 864 836-6006.

  • New Prospect Baptist Church in Anderson is looking for someone to lead worship for their 9:00 a.m. worship service. Their minister of music has resigned. The service is traditional with 250-300 in attendance. They use a choir and a small orchestra. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings and the time commitment on Sundays is from 8:30 until 10:00 a.m. They also do a contemporary service at 11:10, but they have a leader for that service. They could use some leadership for the Sunday evening service, but that is negotiable.   • Grove Station Baptist Church, Piedmont, SC is seeking a part-time Church Worship Leader. This person will be the song leader for Sunday morning and evening worship services, which includes creating a blended worship selection of gospel songs, hymns and contemporary music.  This person will coordinate special music, skits, testimonials and video selections.  Responsibilities will include creating weekly worship slides for display screens with announcements and the words to the worship music.  They will coordinate the practice schedule with the sound/media team and instrumentalists along with special music singers and schedule Sunday evening concerts with singing bands or individuals when available.  Applicant will be interviewed by the Pastor and music ministry church members and if asked, will have an opportunity to candidate for the church during a service prior to accepting this position. The salary is $500 a month/ $6,000 a year. 

  • Grove Station Baptist Church, Piedmont, SC is seeking a Part-Time Church Secretary. This person will create weekly correspondence to church members and visitors which will include initial and follow up letters to our primary outreach ministries of VBS and Awana.  They will order Sunday school materials quarterly and as needed and will coordinate between church vendors and designated church members to schedule work as needed.  They will be the liaison between the church and marketing outlets for newspaper, radio and billboard advertisement, print shops for shirts and banners.  This person will be the church outreach activities coordinator working to schedule church member volunteers, answer phone, make copies when needed and ensure all activity tasks are assigned. Applicant will be interviewed by the Pastor and designated church members. The salary is $10 an hour.  Starting at 10 hours a week.  Hours are flexible, Monday thru Friday.  A few hours on Friday are needed to coordinate with Pastor Gunter on weekly assignments and to turn in signed, weekly timecards.   • Fairfield Mountains Chapel, located in Lake Lure, NC , is a multi-denominational “community church.” The pastor has training and ordination in Southern Baptist theology.  They are seeking a married couple, or single man or woman, to help with their children and youth ministry. The congregation is an older congregation, but they want to reach out to those who do visit for services. They are able to offer a financial package more than commensurate with the time required for this position. If the person employed is ordained, they can break out part of the salary as travel allowance.  They would prefer a married couple, but are happy to any males or females interested.
