Concert Choir to Present Christmas Concert Tuesday
The North Greenville Concert Choir and the North Greenville Singers will present a concert of seasonal music on Tuesday, December 3 in Turner Chapel at 7:00 pm.
The featured work on the program is Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, a collection of ancient English texts describing the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This work will be accompanied by a harp.
Another new work is a contemporary setting by the Gettys of Mary’s song of joy after the angel told her that she would be the Mother of the Christ Child.
Mix in a calypso carol, a little old and a little new and enjoy a wonderful evening of Christmas music.
