First Cultural Event Tonight in Hamlin

NGUís first cultural event of the 2012-13 school year is tonight.

Renee and Richard McKee will be performing a spectacular piano program of transcriptions and original works for two pianos.

Richard McKee received his Bachelor of Music degree from Birmingham-Southern College. He went on to study at the Manhattan School of Music and later received his Ph.D in Musicology at UNC. He is currently the Professor of Music at Campbell University.

Renee McKee also received her Bachelor of Music degree from Birmingham-Southern. She is a church musician, mentors music students and also teaches piano. 

They are the proud parents of four boys and two daughter-in-laws whom are all musicians.

The event will take place in Hamlin Recital Hall tonight at 7pm.
