Five Inducted into Pi Kappa Lambda
On Wednesday, March 6, the Kappa Eta chapter of Pi Kappa
Lambda at North Greenville University inducted its most recent group of members
into the society. The event included an Honors Recital performed by the new
inductees.
The following students were inducted: Austin Blake from Lumberton, NC; Hanna Herrell from Hickory, NC; Beth Keith from Spartanburg, SC; Kelsey Meekins from Spartanburg, SC; and Constance Petersen from Greenville, SC.
Pi Kappa Lambda is the premier American honor society for undergraduate
students, graduate students, and professors of music with more than 200 active
chapters across the nation and approximately 64,500 individual members in the
organization.
The installation of the Kappa Eta chapter at North Greenville University
establishes the excellence of our program among our peer institutions. Only
outstanding students are elected by their faculty to join the society; and
after graduation, students will continue to enjoy the benefits of having been
recognized for such an honor.
