Master of Business Administration (MBA)

 

The purpose of the North Greenville University MBA program is to equip students with the advanced tools enabling them to assume leadership roles in the business or professional community while gaining a Christ-centered perspective.

 

36-Hour Program*


The Curriculum
The MBA curriculum focuses on critical aspects of research and scholarship in business and management. Students may enter the program at any stage. Classes meet at times that are convenient to the working professional’s schedule.


Students will take the following courses in completion of
graduation requirements:
 

1. MRKT 5310 – The Marketing Process
2. BUSN 5340 Human Resource Management
3. BUSN 5320 Quantitative Methods in Business
4. BUSN 5350 Research Methods in Business
5. ECON 5310 – Economics for Managers
6. ACCT 5310 Managerial Accounting
7. BUSN 5380 Financial Management
8. BUSN 5360 – Operations Management
9. BUSN 5310 Information Systems for Decision-Making
10. BUSN 6300 Business Policy and Strategic Planning


In addition, students will be required to take the following
courses to insure the purposes of the university graduate programs:
 

11. PS 5100 – Issues in Professional Ethics
12. PS 5000 – Leadership Development
 

*Students without sufficient background in accounting will be required to take Financial
Accounting at the undergraduate level.
