Graduates should check their NGU email and bookmark this page for graduation updates throughout the semester.
If special circumstances exist which will prevent your participation in the Graduation Ceremony, please inform the Registrar's Office at 864.977.7009 or email Tina Wells.
Schedule Change & Transfer Work
If schedule changes are made during the semester, make sure the changes are approved by your Academic Advisor and the Registrar's Office. Changes made during your final semester could delay your graduation date. Transcripts for transfer credit (Credits that have not been posted to your NGU transcript) must be received in the Registrar's Office by May 1, 2015.
All graduates are required to pay a Graduation Fee (Undergraduate fee: $125; Graduate Fee: $150). The fee includes cap, gown, hood and diploma. Even if you do not plan to attend the graduation ceremony, you must pay the fee. Please contact the Business Office to make your payment. Your Graduation Fee must be paid and any holds must be cleared before you can pick up your cap and gown.
Cap and Gown Pick Up
Undergraduates - pick up your cap and gown on April 27- April 29 between 11:00am and 3:00pm in the Registrar's Office in Neves. Graduate School (i.e. DMIN,MAT,MBA,MCM, M.Ed) should contact administration at the Fairview Campus.
A Graduation Brunch will be held for our Spring 2015 graduates on Wednesday, May 6 at 10:30am in the Hayes Ministry Center prior to graduation rehearsal. During the brunch, the Alumni Office will officially induct you into the NGU Alumni Association and our NGU Staff and Faculty Members will speak specifically to the graduates.
Graduation rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at 1:00pm. It is important that graduates attend rehearsal.
Male graduates should wear dark shoes, (NO flip flops or tennis shoes) dark socks, dark dress pants with a white shirt. Female graduates should wear a Sunday dress or black dress pants with a nice blouse, and flat or wedge heel dress shoes (NO spiked heels due to artificial turf and NO flip flops or tennis shoes).
A reception will be held immediately following the graduation ceremony at the stadium.
A DVD of the ceremony may be ordered at graduation rehearsal or on graduation day at the ceremony for $20. A table will be set up with order forms and orders will be taken at these times only.
Graduation Photo (photo of graduate receiving diploma) - The photographer will take a photo of all graduates as the diploma is received. Class Photo - A group photo will be taken on graduation day at 9:30am. Photos may be ordered after graduation from Phil Hyman Photography at the link below.

SUMMER 2015 and FA-2015 Graduates
Undergraduates: If you are finishing your coursework in SU-15 or FA-15, your Application for Graduation is due NOW.
