Horton Tingle Hall was completed in 1997 and has a capacity of sixty-eight female students. This residence hall is named in honor of the Greg and Neal Horton and Doris Tingle and their families. Horton Tingle Hall is located near the center of campus directly behind Simpson Hall and adjacent to Emery Hall. The rooms in these residence halls are suite-style with two rooms adjoined by a shared bathroom. This residence hall has a large furnished common area, study area, and laundry facility. Horton Tingle Hall offers two room styles: a square room layout that measures 15 x 12 and a rectangular room layout that measures 20 x 9. The rooms have extra-long twin mattresses and 36 blinds. This residence hall, like all female residence halls, has magnetic locks on the exterior doors with prop alarms for the safety of the residents. The rooms come equipped with a sink, two desks, two beds, two closets, two dressers, and a micro-fridge. The micro-fridge features a refrigerator, microwave, and freezer.
