Archive

The Archive is located upstairs opposite the Reference Librarian's desk, behind shelf row eighteen. Its primary focus is NGU History, Southern Baptists in South Carolina, and South Carolina History. Among the items on hand are: recordings of Southern Baptist radio broadcasts from the 40's & 60's, Church histories, and H.C. Hester's papers and sermons.

Regular Fall & Spring Archive Hours

Mon, Wed, Thurs: 8:30am-12:30pm, 1:30-4:30pm
Tuesday:  11:00am-4:00pm, 5:00-7:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm, 1:00-4:00pm


Hours vary during holidays and school breaks.
All other hours by appointment.
Summer hours by appointment only.

Archive Wins Award
The archive program was awarded the South Carolina State Historical Records Advisory Board's Award of Merit. Mr. Jonathan Bradsher, Director of Library Services, and Mrs. Carla McMahan, Technical Services Librarian, were on hand to accept the award at a ceremony in Charleston, SC.
