Micah Sepko is a man of many hats, talents and gifts as he enters his 16th year at North Greenville University.  Sepko currently is the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Sports Information, and is also a full-time instructor in the NGU sport management program.

Sepko’s present duties include overseeing all event operations for the Crusaders’ 20 intercollegiate athletics teams and all activities in the sports information office including website updates, statistics keeping and reporting to the NCAA, publications, public relations, marketing and game staffing. 

Sepko has served in seven different capacities during his time at NGU, holding roles like cheerleading coach, housing director, aquatics director, student activities director and cross country coach.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation and tourism management at Clemson University in 1997 and his master’s in 2001, also from Clemson.

Micah Sepko is also a co-author of the YMCA Aquatic Management: A Guide to Effective Leadership published by Human Kinetics in 2003, a co-author of YMCA pool Operations Manual published in 2004, and a co-author of a textbook, Aquatic Facilities Planning, Design, & Operations, published in 2004 by Human Kinetics.

Micah Sepko has also been honored as a Mid-South Conference Coach two times and he holds an award Named Who’s Who Among America’s Professionals in 1999.

The charismatic Sepko has taught Introduction to Sport Management, History and Philosophy of Sport, Organization and Administration of Sport, Sport Event Management, Emergency Management and Psychology and Sociology of Sport.

A former professional fisherman, Sepko resides in Greer with his wife Katie and their three children, Hannah, Emma Jane and Kaleb.
