• Part Time Worship Leader   

Westside Church is seeking a Paid Part Time Worship leader who can work with our pastoral team to create dynamic, energetic, and creative worship experiences for our congregation.  The successful candidate will lead a worship band that can "celebrate Jesus" and also "intimately approach the throne of God".  He must be able to manage teams of people and develop people in their gifts for the overall worship ministry.  Our style is free, exciting, Jesus focused, and not based in performance over presence.  We evaluate and value the participation of the congregation in our worship services.  We use multimedia, drama, visual illustrations, and creative elements.  The successful candidate will be able to play keyboard or guitar. • Part Time Student Minister

  Hours:  Approximately 10-12 hours per week.  The exact hours are variable depending on needs of the church.

  Compensation:  To be determined. 

  Qualifications:  The Student Minister shall:

  1.      First and foremost, present a testimony of salvation and desire to serve

  2.      Demonstrate a calling in his/her life to serve in this capacity

  3.      Demonstrate a lifestyle that is positive and scripturally based

  4.      Demonstrate the ability to work with limited supervision

  5.      Provide a structured summer offering of activities and programs to foster Christian growth in the youth of our community

  6.      Be currently enrolled in a college/university, and preferably a 2^nd year student or above

• Part Time Youth Minister

Friendship Southern Baptist Church is seeking a part time youth minister to

· work 20 hours a week with one day off during the week except for emergencies and special occasions.

· Participate in meeting/training (1 hr per month)

· Oversee the youth ministry

1.     Identify the needs and interests of teens within church and community

2.     Plan and develop programs for the youth ministry

3.     Evaluate existing programs to determine effectiveness

4.     Identify and provide ministry opportunities for teens

·        Meeting monthly with youth ministry leaders

·        Recruit youth workers as needed

·        Provide counseling and spiritual direction to teens

·        Participate in outreach ministry to teens

·        Lead midweek Bible study for teens

·        Plan at least one yearly youth retreat

·        Visit teens who are hospitalized

·        Participate in training opportunities yearly

·        Help to develop/plan the youth ministry budget and track expenses

·        Compile a youth directory to distribute
