The North Greenville University Chamber players will be performing at a benefit concert as part of the Wade Hampton High School’s spirit week. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Meyer Center for special needs children.
The NGU Chamber Players consist of faculty members, Leslie Warlick, violin; Michael Weaver, viola; Brenda Leonard, cello; Brian Gencarelli, double bass and Fabio Parrini, piano. Other featured musicians will include groups from Christ Church Episcopal, Furman University, Greenville County Schools, and SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities. Come and be entertained as all of the musicians will be highlighting classic works by Marcello, Vivaldi, Bach and many others.
There will also be a special appearance from the reigning Miss South Carolina, Ali Rogers.
The benefit concert will take place tonight, September 4, at 7:30pm at Wade Hampton High School. Admission fee is $20 and $10 for students.
