NGU graduation date set

The North Greenville University Class of 2012 will graduate at commencement Thursday, May 3 at 2 p.m. in Turner Chapel on the NGU campus.

Henry T. Blackaby, author, founder, and president emeritus of Blackaby Ministries International, will be the guest speaker. He served in churches in California and Canada, as well as president of Canadian Baptist Theological College for seven years and president of the Canadian Southern Baptist Conference. Blackaby has published an array of spiritually influential messages in his lifetime, most notably Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God (1990), which has sold 7 million copies and has been translated into over 45 languages.

In addition, Blackaby will be awarded an honorary doctorate of Christian leadership.
