NGU Online Program Ranks Third Best in S.C.

North Greenville University was recently listed by Best Colleges as the third best online institution in the State of South Carolina. The list, compiled by the website, examines the increased need for less-expensive online undergraduate degrees, due to both the budgetary and time concerns of the working class.

The list includes many of the state’s top centers for academia and focuses on said academic quality, affordability, and online competency, per their webpage. “2017 rankings reflect the most recent data available from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and College Navigator, both of which are hosted by the National Center for Education Statistics.”

All eligible institutions for the ranking are graded on a 100 point scale. Perfect scores are earned by being rated 100 in each categories. Colleges and universities listed by the website, “demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education for their students. Quality is measured and weighted through various data points that are specific to each ranking topic. Each methodology drives proprietary calculations, which are grounded in statistical information, and developed to recognize academically robust, affordable colleges and programs.”

According to Best Colleges, “NGU is one of the best online colleges in South Carolina for adults returning to college or seeking a bachelor’s degree for the first time. Students can complete the short courses in as little as eight weeks, have a dedicated advisor throughout the program, and receive access to the career services department. As a Christ-centered university, NGU strives to integrate academics with a Christian worldview and lifestyle, encouraging spiritual growth and service.”

With numerous affordable online opportunities to choose from at North Greenville University, there is sure to be an option for anyone hoping to extend their knowledge in the marketplace or command a higher salary.
