In the spring, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) was up for a chance to win $500,000 through the Chase Community Giving Project. Through the help of collegiate members, NAfME received thousands of votes. Kansas State University and North Greenville University tied for the highest numbers of votes from a NAfME Collegiate Chapter. During this virtual competition tonight, the Crusaders and Wildcats will answer a round of challenging music history and theory trivia questions. The chapter with the highest number of correct answers wins FREE national NAfME membership for their entire chapter.
The National Association for Music Education is among the world's largest arts education organizations, marked its centennial in 2007 as the only association that addresses all aspects of music education. Through membership of more than 75,000 active, retired, and preservice music teachers, and with 60,000 honor students and supporters, NAfME serves millions of students nationwide through activities at all teaching levels, from preschool to graduate school.
