NGU Tops List of Best Online Colleges in South Carolina

Recently, North Greenville University placed first on Affordable Colleges Online's list of best online colleges in South Carolina.

NGU scored an overall 99.61 out of 100 points in the analysis, coming out on top of similar online programs at the University of South Carolina Upstate, Columbia College, and Coastal Carolina University.

The "Best Online Colleges in South Carolina for 2015-2016" list highlights online colleges across the state that offer a balance in academic rigor, student support, and overall affordability. Factors considered in the ranking include acceptance rate, student-faculty ratio, percentage of students receiving financial aid, and number of degrees offered.

"When it comes to finding online colleges in South Carolina that offer students graduate degrees, North Greenville University is a great option to look at," the report reads. "With both MBA and MCM programs, students can further their careers in business or ministry, working over the Internet with excellent teachers to move forward in their careers."

Students enrolled in NGU's online graduate program can also choose from among master's degrees in education, teaching, or music education.

"After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in music education from North Greenville, I decided to return to pursue a Master of Music Education," says NGU alumnus Tyler Cason. "The competent music faculty, challenging environment, and overall level of instruction were the main reasons I chose to continue my education at NGU.”

Through its College of Adult Professional Studies (CAPS), NGU also offers undergraduate online programs for students over the age of 22, with majors in business administration, Christian ministries, criminal justice and legal studies, educational studies, general studies, and psychology.   For more information about NGU's online degrees, explore ngu.edu
