North Greenville University has the privilege of hosting Centrifuge, a youth camp sponsored by LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, and M-Fuge, a sister camp that adds mission involvement to the camp experience, again this summer.
The M-Fuge ministry allows approximately 300 campers and counselors to serve in ministry each camp day in the greater Greenville area. Campers will arrive on campus each Monday and depart on Saturday.
“We began hosting eight weeks of camp on June 6 and will conclude on July 30,” stated Dr. Steve Crouse, Vice President for Campus Ministries. “We anticipate 700-1100 campers weekly.”
Centrifuge and M-Fuge continues the school’s mission as an institution during the summer to reach people for Christ and help them develop as disciples on mission for the kingdom, wherever God leads them. Last summer more than 100 students came to know Christ on the NGU campus through this ministry. Many others made significant responses to Christ’s call in their lives.
