NGU Crusade 2012

The Crusade is North Greenville University's annual revival. Sponsored by the North Greenville Baptist Association and North Greenville University, the university and community join together in an exciting and intense way, worshipping the Lord.  It is a great way to start the new academic year and sets the spiritual tone for the semester.

For our incoming Freshmen, the Crusade offers the first real experience of the true nature and purpose of NGU.  We hope that whether they are saved or searching, they will let Christ make the difference in their hearts and lives during this time of community worship. 

Dates, Places and Times

Crusade begins Sunday, August 12 and continues through August 15th.
 Gather at Turner Chapel each night. 
Music begins at 7:00 pm. (Let the Holy Spirit handle when the worship service ends.)

This Year's Speaker

Travis Agnew's life mission is to disciple people through preaching, teaching, writing, and leading worship.  Married to his high school sweetheart, Amanda, Travis is the father of two sons and a daughter.

Currently Worship Pastor at North Side Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC, he also serves as adjunct religion instructor at Lander University.

Travis graduated from North Greenville University with a B.A. in Christian Studies and a Music minor.  Earning a M.Div. and D.Min. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, his doctoral focus was on equipping parents to evangelize and disciple their children.

In addition to authoring some books, composing some music, he has also developed LifeWay curriculum including the Courageous film's Bible study Honor Begins at Home
