  • CHAMPIONS FOR CHRIST- A scholarship for students preparing for full time Christian service. Please visit their website for more info. Deadline: Fall Term- July 1, Spring Term-November 1, Summer-April 1
  • SC Baptist Convention Scholarships -The Executive Board of the South Carolina Baptist Convention offers two (2) types of scholarships for those seeking a church related vocation. The Church Related Vocational Scholarship (CRVS) is for undergraduate students and the Richard Furman scholarship is for SBC seminary and SCBC university students seeking a masters degree.   • SIRRINE SCHOLARSHIP – This scholarship is for Greenville County graduates. Sirrine Scholarships may be renewed for undergraduate work for a maximum of four years.  The criteria for receiving the Sirrine Scholarship are based on financial need and academic ability.  Scholarships range from $200 to $2,000 depending on the financial need.  The postmarked date for submitting applications and a copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR) is April 15th.   • BAPTIST FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS- The Baptist Foundation of South Carolina awards scholarships primarily through income received from endowed funds left through wills and trusts of individuals whose desire was to assist students obtaining degrees at institutions of higher learning.  Generally, qualifying students must have obtained sophomore level or higher to qualify for a Baptist Foundation scholarship.Deadline: April 30
  • C.G. FULLER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP- $1250 per semester scholarship provided for difficult family financial circumstances brought on by death of a parent, severe illness, a child requiring special medical treatment, or other circumstances affecting the applicants financial situation.Must be a SC Resident, Incoming Freshman, AGI must be $60,000 or less annually, 3.0 GPA and SAT of 1400 (Math/Reading/Writing) or ACT of 24, and have leadership qualities.  Please contact the Financial Aid Office for applicants.  Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
  • Education & Training Vouchers- Provided by Department of Social Services for youth/young adults who have been in foster care or custody of DSS.  Max. award is up to $5,000 per year.  Students must complete FAFSA each year.   • THE MUSIC CLUB OF GREENVILLE-Apply and audition for scholarship dollars provided by The Music Club of Greenville.  Must be a high school senior (Public, Private or Home Schooled) from a county where an active member of The Music Club of Greenville resides (Pickens County, Greenville County or Spartanburg County) who plans to major in music or dance in a US college, university or conservatory.   • VERMONT GRANTS- Residents of Vermont may be eligible for a grants, scholarships, or loans through the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC). Please visit their website for more information-

  • AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY – for cancer survivors under age 25. Contact them at 1-800 ACS-2345 or Deadline is April 15th.
  • STEWART SPINX FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FUND @ NGU - Scholarship provided for the company employees and their immediate families.  May receive up to $3,000. To retain scholarship, student must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA.  To apply for this scholarship, please see your immediate Spinx supervisor.
  • AMERICAN MENSA EDUCATION-Essay required regarding educational and career goals. MENSA affiliation not required. Scholarships range from $300-$1000. Deadline: January 15
  • AMERICAN LEGION SCHOLARSHIP FUND- Minimal qualifications, any major can apply. Must have a relative who is a member of Post #3 (The Local Post). Please write and request an application to: American Legion Scholarship Fund Attention: Cecil Buchanan PO BOX 133 Greenville, SC 29602. This organization typically awards $150-$1000 per year. 
  • PALMETTO LAND TITLE ASSOCIATION- Awards one $1,000 scholarship to a deserving rising junior or senior, who is enrolled in a four year South Carolina college or university and majoring in a business related field.  Other qualifications are required.  Please click on the link to find an application.   • US BANK- Forty $1,000 scholarships through a random drawing process.  Please click on the link to find out more information and how to apply. Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
  • James F. Byrnes Scholarship- An excellent scholarship of $3250 per year & renewable each year. Available to SC residents students who have one or both parents deceased, demonstrate financial need, satisfactory academic record, excellence in character, and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.  Scholarship recipients are screened then those selected will be interviewed.  Application will be available by late November on their website.   • Buick Achievers Scholarship Program- NGU Business Majors may apply.  100 Scholarships each up to $25,000/year and 1000 Scholarships each at $2,000. Please click on the link to apply and find more information.  Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
  • Mass Mutual Scholars- National Scholarship Program for high achieving college students interested in pursing careers in the insurance and financial services industry. They will offer $150,000 in college scholarships. Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
  • Christian Community Credit Union- Offers $50,000 in Scholarships! Must be a member of CCCU with an active checking account, attending college/university, and enrolled for the 2015-16 academic year, and enroll with 12 units or more for Undergraduate students; six units or more for Graduate students.  Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
  • SC Association of Certified Public Accountants- scholarships are awarded to SC residents pursing an accounting degree and range in amount from $500-$2500. Please visit their website to apply. Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
  • Giva- Giva's corporate student scholarship and grant award is for anyone attending a college or university. This scholarship grant is aimed at assisting undergraduate or graduate students further their education. There is no specific course of study or major required. Scholarship amount-$1000 twice a year. Deadline: June 1 and December 1
  • The S.C. Association of CPAs (SCACPA) Educational Fund- Last year, the Educational Fund awarded $26,750 to 16 students in South Carolina. Must be a SC Resident, Rising Junior or Senior Accounting Major (or Master's student), and there are other qualifications. Please visit their website for more info. Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
  • Discover Student Scholarship Sweepstakes-We are giving away $50,000 in scholarships to high school and undergraduate students. Now through February 29, 2016, students are automatically entered to win a $2,500 scholarship when they sign up to receive helpful tips on planning and paying for college.
  • Rice Vinskus Scholarship-A scholarship opportunity for a child (biological/adopted/stepchild) or dependent of a parent or legal guardian with breast cancer.  Scholarships are $2500 per year. Deadline for 2016-17: TBA
