Full-time Faculty in Early Childhood Education
The College of Education is currently accepting applications for a full-time teaching position in the College of Education, Early Childhood Education.  Applicants must possess an earned doctorate and have experience teaching at the early childhood level, preferably in the public schools.  The position requires teaching courses in Early Childhood, working collaboratively with faculty members, advising students in course selection, and advising professional development organizations for students.  The position is available for immediate occupancy.

Adjunct Faculty in Fine Arts  
North Greenville University is currently accepting applications for adjunct professors in Fine Arts to teach Printmaking I and Contemporary Art History for the Spring 2010 semester.  An M.F.A. degree as well as a minimum of two semesters teaching experience at the collegiate level is requred.

Accounting Department Chair
North Greenville University is currently accepting applications for the position of Department Chair in Accounting at the Assistant/Associate Professor level beginning in August 2009.  Qualifications:  Earned Ph.D. in Accounting, Business or DBA with 18 hours of Accounting courses at the graduate level.  Doctoral candidates who are ABD within one year of dissertation will be considered.  The successful candidate will teach undergraduate classes, supervise full-time and adjunct faculty, work with curriculum development, advisement, student recruitment and retention, serve as the Accounting Internship coordinator, give service to the College, University and community.  The successful candidate should also have excellent communication skills, demonstrated leadership, vision and collaborative skills.

Staff Openings

Technical Services Librarian

North Greenville University has an opening for a Technical Services Librarian.  Under the direction and supervision of the Director, this professional position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, management and operation of the Technical Services Department, as well as cataloging of library materials, original, complex and copy, and assisting in maintaining an orderly flow of materials through acquisitions, cataloging and processing/preparation.  An ALA-accredited Master's degree in Library Science or Library Information Science is required.  The candidate should have a working knowledge of cataloging principles and procedures, including but not limited to LCC, LCSH, MARC21 and AACR2.  A working knowledge of Millennium (Innovative Interfaces) software is desirable.  The candidate should be detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.  A combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
