SC Gold Star Mother to Speak at Alumnae Luncheon

Diane Rawl, a member of the SC Gold Star Mothers Organization, will be the guest speaker for the homecoming alumnae luncheon on Friday, Oct. 28. The luncheon is sponsored by Auxilio and is open to all community ladies.

Dianeís youngest son, 1Lt. Ryan D. Rawl, was killed in Khost, Afghanistan, on June 20, 2012. She and her husband pledged that their sonís name will never be forgotten. And as a result of his death, they speak to many groups and churches, work with different veteran committees, and help veterans and the military in many ways.

The cost for lunch, to be held in the Hayes Ministry Center, will be $15 and will begin at 11:30 a.m. The 2016 Homecoming Court will also be special guests.

Please contact Mr. LaVerne Howell at 864.977. 7013 or laverne.howell@ngu.edu by Friday, Oct. 21, to make your reservation.
