Dr. Catherine Sepko, Dean of School of Humanities at North Greenville University, has been named Who’s Who Publishers VIP Member of the Year in her field.
Each year, Who’s Who Publishers recognizes members who stand out among their peers and colleagues for many reasons. They may be honored for awards and honors they have received, their years of dedication and service to their industry, outstanding leadership skills, day-to-day performance, or any mixture of the above. Who’s Who feels that such individuals deserve to be acknowledged for their achievements, and they are therefore honored with inclusion in their print and online publications.
Sepko is a graduate of Pineville High School in West Virginia. She received her bachelor of arts degree in English Language Arts Education from West Virginia Tech. She received her master's degree in English and Mass Communication from Marshall University and her Ph.D. in English Education Curriculum and Instruction from Clemson University. She began teaching in the public school system middle and high schools beginning in 1971 for 17 years. She was a director of Christian education for four years before moving to South Carolina and teaching in the public schools until 1996 when she arrived at NGU. She became the department head in 1998 and continues to teach English.
“Of all the places that I have taught, I have enjoyed NGU the most. It enables me to integrate my faith with teaching subjects and students that I love,” said Sepko.
Who’s Who Publishers provides individuals with a valuable third-party endorsement of their accomplishments, and gives them the tools needed to brand themselves and their businesses effectively. In addition to publishing biographies in print and electronic form, Who’s Who offers an online networking platform where members can establish new business relationships, and achieve career advancement within their respective industries or professions.
