Recipients of SCTG, Hope / Life / Palmetto Fellows Scholarship

 

In order to receive any South Carolina grant (South Carolina Tuition Grant, Hope Scholarship, Life Scholarship and/or Palmetto Fellows Scholarship), you must complete this certificate. A financial aid hold has been placed on your account. You will not be allowed to register until we receive this certificate. Please sign and return this entire page to the NGU Financial Aid Office.

For the purposes of determining my Life Scholarship grade point average (GPA), I certify that I have submitted previous and current official transcript(s) for all colleges I have ever attended. I also affirm that if I take courses after signing this document, I will submit any additional transcripts to my home institution. I understand that this information will be used to determine my Life Scholarship GPA only and will not be used for my institutional academic standing or for graduation purposes.

I understand to qualify for the Life Scholarship I must pass 30 hours of college credits each year on a cumulative basis, and maintain at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Development hours do not count toward the Life Scholarship requirements.

To retain the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship, I must pass 30 college credit hours each year with a cumulative 3.0 GPA.

The Hope Scholarship is for the freshman year only.

By signing this form, I certify that I have never been adjudicated delinquent or been convicted or pled guilty or nolo contendere to any felonies and have not been convicted or pled guilty or nolo contendere to any second or subsequent alcohol or drug related misdemeanor offenses under the laws of this or any other state under the laws of the United States since one year prior to the first day of classes for the Fall Semester. If my status changes after signing this affidavit and before the first day of classes for the Fall Semester, I understand and agree that I must and will immediately report my adjudication, conviction, or plea to my college financial aid office and that I will lose eligibility for any South Carolina grant or scholarships.  

I also affirm that I am presently not in default on any Federal or State student loans nor do I owe any refunds to any Federal or State financial aid programs.
