Top 25 Online Christian Colleges And Universities Taps NGU

Leading Christian higher education resource, Christian Universities Online has published a ranking of the Top 25 Online Christian Colleges and Universities 2017. North Greenville University ranks 25th and is the only South Carolina university included in the ranking.

This ranking gave consideration to schools with fully online degree programs that are members or member eligible of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Each intentionally Christian school included here offers degree programs that are 100% online and excel in categories of selectivity, student interaction, available financial aid, and overall student satisfaction.

Anna-Rebekah Orr, site editor at Christian Universities Online, states that the goal of the ranking is to highlight schools that provide the best online experience for earning a degree. Orr goes on to say, "The convenience of online learning is very attractive to today's students, as it allows flexibility, reduces peripheral costs, and offers many of the same programs available on campus."

Distance learning is increasing in popularity each year. The benefits to both student and school are many: a wider reach, more opportunities for faculty and reduced overhead for the school; no travel, schedule convenience and the ability to access materials anywhere for the student. While there are some trade-offs to be considered, like the limitations inherent in not being on campus, the benefits can easily outweigh the obstacles and help a student meet their educational goals without the significant impact of on-campus learning. Christian Universities Online (CUO) is pleased to offer the Top 25 Undergraduate Online Christian Colleges and Universities.

Christian Universities Online is an independent online resource for students and families researching Christian higher education. The site publishes rankings and reviews of the best Christian colleges and universities, information about Christian scholarships and financial aid, and many other resources for finding, getting into, and paying for a quality Christian education.
