Vandiver Hall was completed in 2005 and has a capacity of seventy-two female students. This residence hall was funded by Thomas Vandiver and Carolina First Bank and was named in honor of Thomas Vandiver. Vandiver Hall is located near the bottom of campus directly behind Brashire Hall and adjacent to Martin Hall. The rooms in these residence halls are suite-style with two rooms adjoined by a shared bathroom. This residence hall has a large furnished common area, study area, and laundry facility. Vandiver has one room style with a 15’ x 12’ floor space. The rooms have regular-length twin mattresses and 36” blinds. This residence hall, like all female residence halls, has magnetic locks on the exterior doors with prop alarms for the safety of the residents. The rooms come equipped with a sink, two desks, two beds, two closets, two dressers, and a micro-fridge. The micro-fridge features a refrigerator, microwave, and freezer. Vandiver Hall is considered premium housing and requires an extra charge of $157 per semester.
