John Duncan, Ph.D., CPA, CKA

Dean of the College of Business & Entrepreneurship

Dr. John B. Duncan serves as Dean of the College of Business and Entrepreneurship and Professor of Accounting at North Greenville University. Dr. Duncan holds a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and he received a Ph.D. in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi.
 
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina and a Certified Kingdom Advisorģ. Dr. Duncanís prior academic leadership roles include serving as Associate Dean at Anderson University, Dean at Charleston Southern University, Dean and Director of the Church Finance Institute at William Carey University, and Department Chair at Mississippi College.
 
In addition, he held the John Luffey Endowed Professorship in Accounting at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Dr. Duncanís research has been presented at numerous academic conferences and has been published in several leading accounting and business journals. He received the Outstanding Intellectual Contributions Award in 2003 for the College of Business Administration at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
 
Dr. Duncan is a member of several professional organizations including the SC Association of CPAs, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is involved with several marketplace ministries including Kingdom Advisors, the C12 group, the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International, the South Carolina Christian Chamber of Commerce, and the Barnabas Group of Charlotte, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. He also currently serves as Vice-Chair of the SC Baptist Conventionís Committee for Christian Life and Public Affairs. Dr. Duncan is married to the former Susan Ganann of Carthage, Mississippi and they have two adult sons, Daniel and Drew.

Distinguished Professor of Management

Dr. Rick Martinez is the Assoc. Dean of Undergraduate Business Programs, and a Professor of Business Administration in the College of Business and Entrepreneurship. Prior to coming to NGU, Dr. Martinez served in numerous faculty and administrative roles at Baylor University, Houston Baptist University, and Oklahoma Baptist University, as well as Assistant VP for Academic Affairs at Charleston Southern University. He has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Management, California Management Review, Journal of Business Research, Business Horizons, Journal of Biblical Integration in Business, Christian Scholars Review, Christian Business Review, Christian Business Academy Review, and others. Dr, Martinez has also served in numerous editorial roles. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Martinez spent six years in the U.S. Navy operating nuclear power plants on surface ships. Dr. Martinez has a B.S. in Political Science from Arizona State University, an M.B.A. in Management of Information Systems from Baylor University, and a Ph.D. in Management from Texas A&M. Rick and his wife Peggy live in Greer and are by Godís grace the blessed parents of 3 amazing young adult children, Mariah, Tyler, and Sierra.

Tracy Kramer, Ph.D.

Associate Dean of the Graduate Programs
Professor of Marketing

Dr. Tracy Kramer has been at North Greenville University since 2006. She received her doctorate from the University of Alabama and taught at George Mason University and Erskine College before joining the faculty at NGU. While her primary area of study is strategic management, specifically small business and non-profit growth, she is also a certified etiquette and protocol professional. She delivers speeches and writes on the topic of professionalism and serves as a consultant to companies. Kramerís husband, David, is an entrepreneurial engineer with a private business in automation and control. They have two children, Brad and Natalie, and two dogs. Kramer serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement, the Leadership Development Committee for the Greer Chamber of Commerce, and the Moonlight and Magnolias Committee for the American Cancer Society.

Stacie Fetter

Administrative Assistant to the Dean

Stacie Fetter serves as the Administrative Assistant for the College of Business & Entrepreneurship at NGU. Stacie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education (Ď94) from Clemson University. Prior to serving at NGU, Stacie worked as founding teacher and Administrator at Abundant Life Christian School in Greenville for ten years and then as Executive Assistant to the Executive Pastor of Redemption World Outreach for eleven years. In her spare time, Stacie enjoys reading, planning events, and watching sports with her husband of 25 years, Danny, and her two sons, Campbell and Colton.
