Web Drake serves as the Dean of the College of Communication and the Fine Arts. Drake earned the B.A. in History and Communication from Mississippi College (92), the M.A. in Speech Communication from the University of North Texas (96) and the Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University (04). Before coming to NGU, Drake served as Debate Coach and Department Chair at Union University and as Debate Coach and Director of Theater at Mississippi College. Drake is an avid goal-setter and enjoys a wide range of hobbies and passions. He has been married to Sharon for 21 years and has two children, Lauren, and Jon David.

Lydia Rogers

Secretary for Dean of the College of Communication and Fine Arts

Lydia Rodgers is the Secretary to the Office of Academic Affairs and College of Communication. Rodgers earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Art in 2011 from North Greenville University and her Masters of Fine Arts in 2016 from Savannah College of Art and Design. Rodgers has spent the past several years partnering with various companies as a design consultant. Rodgers enjoys a range of outdoor activities including horseback riding, kayaking and camping, but people are her passion!
