Linwood Hagin, Ph.D.
Interim Dean of the College of Wellness & Sport Professions Associate Professor for Undergraduate Programs and Academic Administration Professor of Mass Communication
Dr. Linwood Hagin serves as the Associate Provost for Undergraduate
Studies and Academic Administration at NGU. He is currently the Interim Dean of the College of Wellness & Sport Professions. He earned his doctorate from
the University of Tennessee in communication, his masterís from the
University of Minnesota in broadcast journalism, and his bachelorís from
the University of Wisconsin-Superior in speech communication and
German, with a minor in journalism. Hagin worked eight years in radio
news and management before beginning his academic career. He has served
on the faculty of six universities before coming to NGU in 1999. Hagin
has been developing emerging leaders through education and leadership
training for three decades.

Administrative Assistant for the College of Wellness & Sport Professions
Myriam Vest serves as the Administrative Assistant for the College of Wellness & Sport Professions at NGU. She earned a bachelorís degree in Business Administration (Ď85) from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Religious Education (Ď94) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to serving at NGU, Vest taught Developmental English for eight years at Baker College in Michigan and most recently served as office administrator in a local church. In her spare time, she and her husband, Joseph, enjoy traveling, gardening and the mountains, and especially hiking with their family.
