The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics offers a French minor. The prerequisite for a minor in French is the completion or the placement out of French I, French II, French III, and French IV.
Core courses required for all French minors:
FREN 2330, Intermediate French Conversation (3 hours)
FREN 2335, Intermediate French Grammar and Composition (3 hours)

FREN 3330, Trip to a Native French Speaking Environment (3 hours)

may be taken more than once.

Total 18 hours
This course may be taken more than once as long as the topic of the course is different. No more than nine credit hours may be on the 2000 level.
