Before you continue, please make sure you have your relevant personal information and academic materials on hand. This will ensure a simpler, smoother NGU application process for you.
These are the steps for applying to Adult and Online Undergraduate if you are 22 years of age or older, have already earned your high school diploma or GED, and will enter NGU as an undergraduate student who takes classes online through Adult and Online Undergraduate to complete a bachelor’s degree.
Freshman Online Applicant
If you’re an undergraduate online applicant who will enter NGU as a freshman student, then you’ll need to provide the following documents to apply:
- A completed Adult and Online Undergraduate application for admission
- $30 application fee (non-refundable)
- Official high school transcript, to be provided by your high school – This transcript should include all of your high school studies up to the present, your GPA on a 4-point scale, and your overall class rank.

Transfer Online Applicant
If you’re a current college student who will transfer to NGU with any college credits, then you’ll need to provide the following documents to apply:
- A completed Adult and Online Undergraduate application for admission

- Official high school transcript and official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended, to be provided by the institution

Maria is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of higher education administration, including financial aid, admissions, community relations and marketing, training, teaching, faculty development, and curriculum writing.
Her educational background includes undergraduate degree work in music education as well as graduate work in Christian ministry, management, marketing, and leadership. In addition to working full-time and completing doctoral courses of study, Maria also serves bi-vocationally as a church musician and choir director. She and family reside in Greenville, SC.

Michael A. Kelly serves as the Regional Admissions Counselor for the Department of Adult and Graduate Admissions. Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Brewton Parker College, a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Erskine Theological Seminary. Prior to his admission duties at NGU, Michael served in the United States Army with a total of 35 years of services. In his spare time, Michael enjoys repairing antique clocks and painting.
