So Many Opportunities to Shine!

Student Leadership

Personal Growth, Shared Service

Leave the bushel basket behind: We want your light to shine. It starts day one. We match every new student (freshman and transfer) with a mentor, a student who’s already been at NGU for a while.

Use your mentor as a friend. Ask the question that makes you feel silly or small. Your mentor was new to NGU, too, not very long ago. That’s what friends are for. Explore the First Year Experience.

How followers lead: Humbly. Boldly. Joyfully. One step at a time. Every student deserves to find their own leadership path.

Step into a personal role as a mentor. Accept the charge of leading a student group or student government. We are with you as you grow into a healthy personal relationship with the Lord and your path as a servant leader.

Raise your game in a student club—academics, hobbies, recreation, faith, growth, life, we’re in it together.
