Zion Mekhi"BJ" Dendy
Student Body President
Zion Dendy is a junior broadcast media major. He strives to be a sports media cinematographer for a professional sports organization one day. His vision for NGU is to unite the entire campus under one voice which represents not only students but faculty also.
Student Body Vice President
Adam Kelly is a digital media major and English minor. His goal is to work with the school and make it a better environment for the students. Adam’s favorite hobbies are photography and graphic design, and he would like to incorporate these skills into improving the campus. His favorite thing about NGU is the loving people. To him, they're not just people; they're family.
Beth Lipscomb is from Memphis, Tennessee. She is a Broadcast Media major and is excited about being a full time sideline reporter for a sports team. Beth knows with her ambition and inspiration, she can create a chain reaction that will change the world one day at a time. Because it’s not what we did one day, it’s what we do every day. .
Melisa Lynn Mason
Melisa Mason is from Orlando, Florida. She is a Junior psychology major and is also on the North Greenville cheer team. Melissa is so excited to be a part of Student Government because she wants to play a role in helping make an even more amazing experience for her fellow students. A fun fact about Melisa is that she enjoys swimming with manatees in the wild.
Ryan Fleming is a junior marketing major. Fleming’s favorite hobby is walking around campus contemplating gas prices and playing the saxophone. He enjoys a good Marvel movie whenever the opportunity to watch it presents itself. Fleming has never met a puppy he could not pet. His favorite thing about NGU is the community of students that make this University a home. He loves it when people call him “The Flemster”.
College of Business & Entrepreneurship Representative
Brennan Revells is a senior majoring in Business Administration and pursuing a minor in Computer Science. He works in the IT Helpdesk as a Student Technician and was selected to be the Jenzabar Intern for summer 2019. His goals are fostering better communication between the student body, SGA and NGU administration, as well as finding more opportunities for commuters to plug in. Overall his mission is to seek ways to improve the everyday student experience. His favorite part about pursuing a degree at NGU is the atmosphere of community and the amazing faculty and staff. He is the oldest of 10 children and his hobbies include playing guitar for his church worship team, working with computers, and serving God in whatever He directs him to do.
College of Christian Studies Representative
Brayden Smith is a junior Christian Studies Major with a minor in Psychology. Brayden plans on becoming a counselor. He wants to enhance NGU’s environment for study and play. In his free time, you can find Brayden spending time with his friends around campus. His favorite part about North Greenville is the sense of community around campus between students, professors, and faculty.
College of Education Representative
Kae Ricker is a junior Elementary Education major at North Greenville. Her goal for this year through SGA is for people to feel fully known and heard, whatever that may look like. She is excited for this opportunity and for all the new people she will meet through it!
College of Communication and Fine Arts
Ian Hammond is a junior vocal performance major. He plans on continuing his education beyond his undergraduate studies to pursue a doctorate in vocal pedagogy. His ultimate career goal is to be a choir director and voice teacher at the college level. In his spare time he loves to run. His favorite part about NGU is the small size of the school because it makes it easy to build deep, genuine relationships.
College of Humanities & Sciences Representative
Catherine Lant is a sophomore Political Science and History double major. After NGU, she hopes to attend law school and enter the political scene. Her favorite hobbies are online shopping, reading, and playing volleyball for North Greenville. Lant hopes to create more leadership opportunities for the students within the Colleges of Humanities and Sciences as well as foster a greater sense of community for the students that she represents. Her favorite thing about NGU is the family feel and all of the amazing people that she gets to interact with on a daily basis.

Mario Robinson is a Senior Sport Management Major, who plans to pursue a career in sport statistics. Mario has always enjoyed watching and playing sports in his free time. His favorite part about NGU is the ability to connect with the professors.
Journie Crenshaw is a Broadcast Media major hoping to pursue a career in the news field. She has served as the Assistant News Director and News Director for NGU Vision Media on campus. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and watching shows on Netflix. Journie has been a part of Student Government at NGU since her junior year. She loves the opportunities she gets as a student at North Greenville and loves to serve her fellow Crusaders.
