
Zion Mekhi"BJ" Dendy
Student Body President
Zion Dendy is a senior digital media major from Mauldin, South Carolina. Despite being 6’5”, he is far from an athlete. Instead, Zion wishes to pursue a career in multimedia production for a professional sports team one day. Zion’s vision for NGU is to create an environment where each and every demographic on and off campus is adequately represented.

Catherine Lant
Student Body Vice President
Catherine Lant is a junior political science and history double major, and she is on the NGU women’s volleyball team. After finishing her undergraduate studies, she plans to obtain a law degree and enter the political scene. Catherine’s goals for SGA this year include creating more leadership opportunities for the student body and improving the line of communication between students and professors for a better learning experience. Her favorite thing about NGU is the uplifting community and the amazing faculty and staff.

Melisa Mason
Secretary
Melisa Mason is a senior psychology major. She is on the North Greenville cheer team. After she graduates with her bachelor’s in psychology she plans on continuing her studies to achieve a master’s in social work. Melisa enjoys working with children and looks forward to using her education to help better the lives of children and their families. Melisa’s goals for SGA this year are to create a welcoming environment and diminish stress and anxiety on campus.

Ciara Mace
Treasurer
Ciara Mace is a sophomore business administration major from Gaffney, SC. She is a part of the women’s golf team and enjoys the community atmosphere. Her passion for business goes even farther than just her major; she runs her own business with Arbonne International, where she is a district manager. Ciara’s goals are to unite the community of NGU and make each student feel like they are welcome with open arms. Overall, her mission is to seek ways to continually improve student life here on campus and be a listening ear for both staff and students.

Charlsey Marcus
Attorney General
Charlsey Marcus is a senior political science major. She plans to continue her studies at law school after she graduates NGU with her undergraduate degree. Her goal for SGA is to be a listening ear for both faculty and students, and being a collected voice for everyone to help better the overall experience.

Jordan Durham
College of Business & Entrepreneurship Representative
Jordan Durham is from Easley, SC, and is a senior studying international business. After graduating in December 2020, he plans to pursue his MBA in marketing. Jordan's hobbies are spending time with his friends and family.

Austin Ehrhardt
College of Christian Studies Representative
Austin Ehrhardt is a junior Christian studies major and organ performance minor. He is passionate about hiking, preaching, and getting to know people. Austin is the president of Kerusso. His goal for SGA is to create an open environment for discussion and conversation between the students and professors of the Christian studies department.

Kaydee Culbertson
College of Education Representative
Kaydee Culbertson is a senior elementary education major with an add-on in early
childhood education at North Greenville. She is the secretary for the Beta Delta
Honors Society, which works hand-in-hand with the International Literacy
Association. Her goal for this year through SGA is for the students of the College of
Education to build community within the department to where all students have a
voice. She believes that forming relationships, along with having experience, is the
key to success when it comes to being successful in the classroom. Furthermore,
she will advocate that NGU students become more involved with the local schools
around the Greenville County Community to help build experience. She wants to
work with the College of Education to help students become caring leaders, effective practitioners, and lifelong learners in the field of teaching.

Lauren Dibble
College of Communication and Fine Arts Representative
Lauren Dibble is a senior digital media major with a minor in Spanish. She has served as the editor-in-chief for the North Greenville Vision Magazine on campus. After NGU, Lauren plans on pursuing a career in journalism. Her goal through SGA is to build deeper connections with professors and students in order to enhance the sense of community on campus. Her favorite things about NGU are the people and the various opportunities to get involved in campus life. In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing sand volleyball, rock climbing, and hanging out with friends.

Abigayle Nelson
College of Humanities & Sciences Representative
Abigayle Nelson is a sophomore biology major who plans to pursue a medical degree
post-undergrad graduation. She is passionate about everything science and medical and spends most of her time working towards her goal of one day practicing medicine. She is excited to work with SGA as the College of Science and Humanities Representative. Her plans for the 2020-2021 year are to magnify the voices of her college and to provide a vessel through which students can express their thoughts and let them be heard from North Greenville’s leadership positions.

Sarah Atkins
Public Liaison
Sarah Atkins is a senior elementary education major with an add-on in middle level social studies and a music minor. She serves on campus as a chaplain and works in the admissions office. Off campus, Sarah enjoys leading worship and serving in the student ministry at her church, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, hiking, fishing, and traveling. Her favorite things about North Greenville are the incredible students, faculty, and staff as well as the way leaders aim to provide a Christ-centered community in which students can learn, grow, and serve. Sarah is excited to collaborate with other campus leaders in order to provide an improved campus experience for students.
