Steve Bielby, ThM, LPC, received his Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of South Carolina. His career has included working with college students, athletes and coaches through Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), and as a singles pastor in a local church. Since 1980, Steve has provided Biblical or licensed counseling on college campuses, in inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, and in private practice. He currently serves as the North Greenville University Director of Counseling.

Steve was born and raised in Holland, MI and is the oldest of four brothers. As a high school senior in 1975 he saw the movie Time to Run and realized that he knew about God but did not know God personally. After trusting in Jesus Christ to be his Savior and Lord there were several things that especially impacted him as a young Christian: close Christian friends, working as a counselor at a summer youth camp, involvement with Cru in college, and the ICHTHUS Christian music festival.

Athletics played a big part in Steveís life growing up and was a significant reason for his going on staff with Cru and their Athletes in Action ministry after graduation from college. Serving with them allowed him to live and travel all over the U.S, go on mission trips to various countries, and grow through different leadership roles.

Steve has been married to his wife Gina since May of 1984. She works as the Manager of Provider Enrollment with Greenville Health System. His daughter Shea is married and is an orthopedic surgeon with Greenville Health System. His son-in-law Seth is on staff with Vox Bivium Christian Gap-Year School. His son Carson is a Clemson University graduate and has his own live streaming event video business in Greenville, SC.

Hanging out with family, doing sports and outdoor activities, reading, and eating breakfast out are some things Steve really enjoys.
