The T. Walter Brashier Family Christian Ministry Scholarship covers 100% tuition and is offered to new incoming graduate students actively pursuing one of our graduate programs in ministry, and that desire to use their education in a ministry related vocation. Qualifying degrees: Doctor of Ministry, MA in Christian Ministry, and Master of Divinity.
The following steps must be completed by May 1. Selected applicants will be invited to interview with our scholarship committee for further consideration.
Step 1: Apply and be accepted for admission in one of the qualified degree programs.
Step 2: Submit the scholarship application, including the name and contact information of your pastor or church leader that can serve as a reference. We will send this person a link to our online recommendation form.
Step 3: Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov. School code: 003441.
Recipients of this scholarship are required to serve a minimum of 5 hours per week in NGU campus ministry related activities or other approved off-campus ministry opportunity. The scholarship is renewable based on the student maintaining a 3.0 GPA, maintaining at least half-time enrollment in one of the specified degrees, and continuing to serve regularly in an approved ministry opportunity.
