To be successful in this course, students are expected to have access to
a reliable high speed Internet connection, an updated Internet browser
(preferably Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox), with PDF,
Flash, and Java support. Students will have access to Microsoft Office
for Word, Power Point, and Excel through Office 365 through their NGU
student email account.
Blackboard and NGU email are the primary tools for class
communication, assignments, materials, etc. Therefore, all students must
have access to the Blackboard course site and NGU email. Students are
expected to access the course in Blackboard and check NGU email on a
It is recommended, but not required, to have dual screens especially
for the courses where eBooks are utilized. Dual screens allow students
to read an eBook on one screen while completing assignments on the other
which make the process more fluid and integrated.
While it is important to maintain good communication with the
instructor, Internet connectivity problems and home computer problems
are not considered adequate excuses for missing assigned class work.
