Meet the Admissions Staff
Keli Sewell, Vice President for Enrollment Services
Keli has served NGU since January of 1993. She earned her Associate’s Degree from North Greenville College in 1989, a Bachelor’s Degree from Carson-Newman College in1992 and a Master of Arts from Webster University in 1997. Keli and her husband, Dan, have two boys, Daniel (age 13) and Erik (age 11) and are currently building a home in the Blue Ridge area. Outside of the office, her family enjoys hiking, running, golf and supporting Crusader Athletics. As Vice President for Admissions and Financial Planning, Keli is blessed to lead the team in recruiting students to become a part of the NGU Crusader family.
Andy Ray, Director of Admissions
Since joining the staff of the Office of Admissions in 1992, Andy has had the opportunity to see hundreds of students grow and graduate from North Greenville University. Many NGU graduates have gone out into the world to do great things for God. He takes joy in watching their success.
Andy met the love of his life, Regina, on the first day of freshman orientation at North Greenville in 1982. They were later married and now have two children, Elizabeth and David. Andy and Regina both sang in Joyful Sound while they were in school at North Greenville. When Andy is not serving NGU, he can be found serving God as the Minister of Music/Worship Leader at Bethel Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. Erin Wall, Assistant to the VP for Enrollment Services and Campus Events Coordinator
Erin graduated from North Greenville in 2000 with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and immediately began her career in the Office of Admissions. In 2007, Erin completed her MBA with NGU and began teaching as an adjunct professor with the College of Business. While attending North Greenville, Erin was a member of Joyful Sound, Miss NGC 1999, and was actively involved with BSU and summer missions. Erin considers it a blessing and privilege to share with prospective students her memories and experiences from NGU.

Debbie Barefoot, Associate Director and Admissions Counselor
Debbie has been a part of the Admissions Team for over 12 years. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have 2 children. Having grown up in the Greenville area, she and her husband attend Taylors First Baptist Church. Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves most sports, especially college football and basketball. Sharing NGU with prospective students and their families is very rewarding to Debbie. Cory Truax, Admissions Counselor (picture coming soon)
Cory Truax graduated from North Greenville University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. At NGU, Cory gained a deep appreciation for what it means to be involved in excellent academics in a distinctly Christian atmosphere. After graduation, Cory worked in Admissions at another Christian university, and is absolutely thrilled to be back at NGU, helping students find the incredible experience available at NGU. Cory also occasionally teaches the adult class at his church, Beechwood Church in Greenville, SC as well as currently serving as a Children's Ministry Director. Whitney Barefoot, Associate Director / Transfer and International Counselor
Whitney Barefoot is a 2007 graduate of the Mass Communication department at North Greenville University. While enrolled as a student at North Greenville, Whitney was active in BSU, assisted in the baseball office as a student worker, participated in mission trips, and was a news anchor for the university television station – Channel 48 The Vision News. Whitney and her husband, Jason are members of Taylors First Baptist. Spending time with family, shopping, hiking and cooking are among her favorite pastimes. Angela Geib, Admissions Counselor
Angela graduated from North Greenville in 2007 with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. In addition to her academic involvement at North Greenville, Angela competed on the women's cross country team for four years. After graduation, she began working in the health and wellness industry and ultimately felt led back to NGU to be part of the Admissions team. Angela and her husband, Matt, are members of New Spring Church in Greenville. When she is not working, she enjoys cycling, running, reading and gardening. Katie Lynn Marshall, Admissions Counselor/Dual Enrollment Coordinator
Katie Lynn graduated from North Greenville University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Through the school’s “Work Study” program, Katie Lynn developed a passion for business, as well as working with students and professors. After graduating, she served full time as the Worship Leader at Velocity Church in Taylors, SC. In September of 2012, Katie Lynn was blessed with the opportunity to join the Admissions Staff at NGU. She is excited to be a part of this great team, and is looking forward to helping prospective students find their purpose through North Greenville University. Michelle Moses, Office Manager for Enrollment Services
Michelle has lived in Slater, SC for 18 years. She and her husband Shawn have been married for nineteen years, and they have four children,Kristan, Kaitlynne, Kyle, and Kade. Before coming to North Greenville Michelle worked in several daycares. She loves working at NGU because she loves being able to worship her Lord through her work. She loves working in the admissions office,because she knows this is where the Lord has called her. In her spare time she enjoys knitting,crocheting, singing, and teaching Bible studies.

Becky Bates, Data Entry Specialist
While relatively new to the Office of Admissions, Becky is not new to North Greenville University. She has been working at North Greenville since the fall of 2004. Becky met my husband, Jim, while attending Liberty University. They have been married for 35 years and have had the privilege of serving the Lord together in several churches where Jim served as senior pastor. They continue to serve the Lord together at North Greenville University as he is now the Associate Campus Minister. They have three children and three grandchildren, with a fourth on the way. In Becky's spare time, she enjoys creating “specialty” cakes for “special” people, riding horses with her husband, and spending as much time with her children and grandchildren as possible.

Joan Moon, Secretary/Receptionist
Joan has lived in Landrum, SC for 19 years. She and her husband Brian have been married for nineteen years, and they have two children, Katie and Charlie. They also have 10 pets! Before coming to North Greenville Joan worked at Skyland Elementary School. She loves working at NGU because she knows that Christ is the center of everything. She loves the freedom she has to share her faith in Christ with everyone who comes on campus. She also loves that the faculty, staff, and students are all one big family! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and listening to all kinds of music.

Marnie Daniel, Campus Visit Coordinator/Campus Ambassador Advisor
She has lived in Michigan for most all of her life. Marnie and her husband Mick, of almost 19 years, were led by the Lord to the Greenville area in the summer of 2009. They have three children, Mitchel, Macullen and Marlee. Her family attends Pebble Creek Baptist Church where Marnie is involved in the Selah School of Dance Ministry, and vocal team. She absolutely loves the ministries the Lord has given her the privilege be to be a part of. Marnie came to know the Lord 15 years ago and grows closer to Him every day. She is honored to be a part of the NGU Admissions Team and is very excited to help guide future students in their walk through the next season of their life.
