Study Abroad

Your Innovation Journey Starts Here: Study Abroad with NGU in Europe!

Ever dreamed of meeting new friends from all over the globe, learning in different countries, and using your talents while doing so? Turn your dream into reality through the College of Business and Entrepreneurship (COBE) Study Abroad program.

Launched in 2023, the COBE Study Abroad experience provides students with the opportunity to attend the top entrepreneurial education program in the world, the European Innovation Academy in Porto, Portugal. Students from 25+ countries and 100+ universities are represented at the academy, with many ranking in the top 100 business schools in the world. NGU students attend the intensive 3-week Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp alongside peers from institutions such as Stanford, Cal-Berkeley, and Yale. Through this program, students learn and gain experience from professionals in various fields, faculty, mentors, and each other.

From the program’s inaugural year in 2023, COBE nearly doubled in size in 2024 with 9 of its students participating in the Study Abroad Experience.

Countries we will be visiting: Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal

Dates: July 5th, 2025 – Aug 9th, 2025

Ready to Win?

In 2024, NGU Senior Marketing major Julia Babun (in red) and her international teammates won the Nixon Peabody Ed Quinones Spark Award. This award is given to a team that demonstrates their business is patentable and their idea solves a real problem, along with displaying excellent teamwork. Out of 90 teams, Julia’s was one of only 3 to receive a Nixon Peabody Award.

The Spark Award is considered the most prestigious of all awards issued by the European Innovation Academy.
