  • My Story

I have been taught and influenced by some of the top performers and teachers in the field of brass performance, including Wesley Jacobs, Joseph Skrzynski and Eugene Wade (Detroit Symphony), Robert LeBlanc, and Joseph Duchi (The Ohio State University, Columbus Symphony). After a short hiatus in the business world, I was appointed to the North Greenville faculty in 2007 and have enjoyed working at this institution ever since! My heart as a musician resonates with J.S Bach’s subscript “Soli Deo Gloria”, and I try to instill that in each of my students. Our success as music makers must never be at the expense of our character as Christ-followers. We CAN succeed at both!
