Journey Worship Co. to Lead Worship Seminar at NGU on Sept. 8

Tigerville, SCNorth Greenville University’s (NGU) annual Global Impact Week will include a worship seminar led by Journey Worship Co.  

The seminar is set for Monday, Sept. 8, from 2-4 p.m. Journey Worship Co. is from Journey Church in Lebanon Tennessee, pastored by Erik Reed.  

Worship pastor Brett Perkins began Journey Worship Co. as a ministry of the church in 2021.

“We’re so honored to be coming to NGU for their Global Impact Week,” Perkins said. “One gathering we’re especially looking forward to is meeting with the local church leaders.” 

The workshop will include corporate singing, teaching on making disciples through the church’s music, and a Q&A session.  

NGU Associate Vice-President of Campus Ministries and Student Engagement Dr. Dallas Vandiver said the seminar will be provide a great learning opportunity for local churches. 

“Their heart for disciple making through corporate worship makes them excellent partners for NGU. Journey Worship Co. writes theologically rich songs for the church in a musical sound that is their own but may also remind some listeners of CityAlight,” Vandiver said. 

Journey Worship Co has released 32 original songs, hymn covers, two live records, and one studio Christmas record. The group’s music can be found on all streaming platforms.
