NGU to Host CeCe Winans, Taylors Free Medical Clinic Annual Gathering Tigerville, SC (April 19, 2022) North Greenville University (NGU) is pleased to announce that it will host the Taylors Free Medical Clinic annual gathering Tuesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. in Turner Chapel on its Tigerville Campus. The best-selling and most-awarded female gospel artist of all time, CeCe Winans, will be the featured speaker.

Taylors Free Medical Clinic is a faith-based clinic located in Taylors, whose mission is to minister to the mind, body, and spirit of the medically indigent and uninsured of Greenville County. While the clinic strives to show Christ’s love through its daily interactions, none of its services are contingent upon its patients affirming or adhering to their Christian Statement of Faith.

According to Winans’ website, she has cemented her status as one of the most accomplished and celebrated women in modern music history. After nearly a decade, she returned to the studio to produce her generation-bridging new album, “Let Them Fall in Love,” a record that took roughly three years to craft and is recognized as one of her most confident, adventurous collections yet.

Recording and performing as both a solo artist and as a duo with her brother BeBe, Winans has influenced a generation of gospel and secular vocalists throughout her astonishing career. Today, her mantel holds a staggering 12 Grammy Awards, 20 Dove Awards, and seven Stellar Awards. She’s been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Nashville Music City Walk of Fame, Trailblazer of Soul by BMI, and garnered multiple NAACP Image Awards, Soul Train Awards, Essence Awards, and more.

She has sold more than five million albums in the U.S., topping the Gospel charts repeatedly while crossing over with smashes like “Count on Me,” her duet with Whitney Houston from the multi-platinum “Waiting to Exhale” soundtrack. The soundtrack sold two million copies and cracked the Top 10 on the Pop, R&B, and Adult Contemporary charts. She touched millions more with inspirational performances everywhere, from Oprah to The White House, and even showed her acting talent on the television series “7th Heaven” and “Doc.”
