Tigerville, SC (April 26, 2022) On Wednesday, April 20, North Greenville University (NGU) held a retirement recognition at a faculty-staff chapel, honoring longstanding faculty and staff for their contributions to the university and the North Greenville community.
The university recognized six faculty and staff members who are retiring this year. Everyone received a commemorative gift acknowledging their tenure.
Those recognized were:
Bill Farina – Campus Safety and Security Officer Dr. Linwood Hagin – Associate Provost and School of Communication Professor Lisa Hagin – Hester Memorial Library Technical Services Assistant/Archive Ruth McWhite – Director of Women’s Ministry Keith Moore – Campus Enhancements Services Barry Wright – Campus Safety and Security Officer
Each year during the annual faculty-staff recognition event, NGU recognizes two employees with the Lamar Chapman Distinguished Service Award. The award is given to one faculty member and one staff member who have distinguished themselves through exemplary service to the university.
