  • My Story

After graduating from college, I began my career as a television reporter and anchor in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina market. I later transitioned into the resort, travel, and tourism industry, serving as a Marketing and Public Relations Director while also launching my own marketing and PR firm, where I provided strategic communications and branding support to clients across a variety of industries.

Following my work in tourism, I moved into the field of economic development, focusing on business recruitment and job creation initiatives. In these roles, I worked with local and state leaders to attract national and international companies and major corporations to South Carolina, helping to drive economic growth and investment throughout the region.

In 2010, I began teaching as an adjunct instructor at several colleges, and within a few years, higher education became my full-time career. Teaching has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my professional journey. I believe it is a calling that God placed on my heart, allowing me to serve others through education, mentorship, and leadership while being a faithful steward of the gifts and opportunities He has provided. I truly believe in the COBE mission and the Business as a Ministry mindset.
