Student Life
From recreation to distinguished performances in the arts, student life at NGU has a little something for everyone. Your student can enjoy intramural sports or recreational activities with our Tigerville Play team. They can attend performances and Broadway-caliber shows at Billingsley Theatre or Hamlin Recital Hall, or get in the game by attending a sporting event for one of our 21 NCAA Division II athletic team. NGU also offers dozens of clubs and student organizations that help provided a well-rounded college experience.
Campus Ministries
Developing and discipling students is a top priority for NGU faculty and staff. Through our office of Campus Ministries and Student Engagement (CSME), we offer opportunities for students to grow and mature in their faith with corporate worship and biblical teaching. Students will attend chapel twice each week, and will have the opportunity to engage Baptist Campus Ministries each Thursday. NGU also offers dozens of mission opportunities each academic year, with trips occurring both nationally and internationally.
Academics
Consistently recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the Top Regional Universities in the South, North Greenville University offers more than 120 relevant and competitive programs on-site and online. NGU is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), offering six unique colleges with undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral study.
Trailblazer Hospitality
NGU offers a wide range of dining options, from Chick-fil-a to Todd Gathering Place. The main dining concourse provides many selections from Trailblazer Hospitality, with healthy and nutritious options for specialized diets and even picky eaters. On the go snacks can be found at the 1892 Place in the student center, and Chick-fil-a ordering is conveniently done through Grubhub to allow for an expedited process during busier times of the day.
Slingshot and Wood’s General Store
Through NGU’s partnership with Slingshot, required course materials are automatically ordered and delivered to students before classes begin, making it easier to start each semester prepared and without the stress of figuring out which books are needed. Students can pick up their materials at Wood’s General Store, a historic Tigerville landmark that has been part of the community since 1881 and is now home to the Helen R. Wood Post Office and the campus store. Along with course materials, students can find NGU apparel, gifts and everyday items, making Wood’s a convenient place for students to stay connected to the university they call home.
Information Technology
Technology is an essential part of the college experience, and at North Greenville University, students have a dedicated team ready to help when technology gets in the way of learning. The ITS Help Desk provides support for common computer, software, email, network and technology issues, helping students stay connected and focused on their education. Whether a student needs help troubleshooting a computer problem, installing software or connecting to campus Wi-Fi, the ITS team is available to provide friendly, responsive assistance.
NGUcentral
College comes with plenty of details to manage, and NGUcentral staff are available to help students navigate those responsibilities throughout the semester. Whether a student has questions about a financial aid requirement, needs assistance with an account payment or wants help understanding their academic progress, NGUcentral provides knowledgeable, personalized support. For parents, it is reassuring to know their student has a team ready to help them understand the details of college life and take greater ownership of their education.

Through Parent Link, families can partner with NGU in supporting students, welcoming prospective families, providing internships and career connections, serving as ambassadors in their churches and communities, volunteering at university events and helping strengthen the NGU experience for current and future students.
