38th Annual Marion Moorhead Classic at Cherokee Valley Course and Club
Each year, we host a scholarship golf classic fund raiser with 100% of the proceeds allocated to North Greenville University’s General Scholarship Fund, which directly aids students. Join the fun and help support college scholarships!

Annual Alumni Awards Celebration and the 1976 Class Reunion

Celebrate NGU’s alumni community with the annual Alumni Awards Celebration and class reunion. Honor the 2026 Alumni Award recipients, welcome the Class of 1976 into the Half Century Club, and enjoy dinner, fellowship, and cherished NGU memories with classmates, spouses, and guests.

The tour will begin promptly at 9 a.m.
Led by the NGU Aurora Society and Archivist Joanna Beasley. Sponsored by NGU Archives and the Bomar School of Communication Aurora Agency.
Alumni & Friends Tailgate Party
Saturday, October 17th, 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Experience the All Alumni Family & Friends Tailgate Party, featuring a Kids Zone with inflatables and a Food Truck Rodeo lunch. Food trucks will offer convenient cashless, self-purchase options.
Homecoming Football Game: NGU vs. Shorter University
Melvin and Dollie Younts Stadium | 2 p.m.

Visiting Tigerville
North Greenville University is located in Tigerville in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Tigerville is a pastoral community 18 miles north of Greenville, South Carolina, the state’s largest metropolitan area, less than 12 miles from Greer and about 35 miles from Spartanburg with easy access to I-85, I-26, and US 276 and 25.
The campus setting provides a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, with the campus itself situated on the summit of a rolling hill amid acres of university-owned land. Most of the buildings on the campus have been constructed in the past few decades replacing older buildings which were erected during the first 100 years of the university’s history.

From Greenville, SC: Take Business 25 and 276 to Travelers Rest. Continue on 25 North to Highway 414. Turn right on 414 and NGU will be four miles on the left.
From Spartanburg, SC: Take Highway 29 toward Greenville. Turn right on Highway 290 in Greer. Continue on Highway 290 until you reach the intersection of Highway 290 and Highway 253. Turn right on Highway 253. After you have traveled six miles, you will come to the intersection of Highway 253 and Highway 414. Turn left on Highway 414 and you will see the entrance to North Greenville on the right.
From Hendersonville, NC/Asheville, NC: Take I-26 towards Spartanburg. Exit onto Highway 25 to Greenville, South Carolina. Turn left on Highway 414. NGU will be four miles on the left.
From Columbia, SC: Take I-26 West to Spartanburg. Exit on Highway 29 towards Greer/Greenville. Turn right on Highway 290 in Greer. Continue on Highway 290 until you reach the intersection of Highway 290 and 253. After you have traveled six miles, you will come to the intersection of Highway 253 and Highway 414. Turn left on Highway 414 and you will see the entrance to North Greenville on the right.
From Atlanta, GA: Take I-85 North to Exit 42. Take the left branch of I-I85 toward Greenville. Exit I-185 to White Horse Road, Highway 25. Stay on 25 traveling north toward Asheville, North Carolina. Turn right on Highway 414. NGU will be four miles on the left.
