Tigerville, SC—North Greenville University worship studies students will be performing with award-winning artist Aaron Williams on an upcoming single.
Williams, known for his song “Abide” with Integrity Music, invited the students from NGU Worship to accompany him as part of a choir for the new track. The recording is planned for late August in Nashville, Tennessee.
“The students will not only get to be the choir for this live recording but get to work closely with professional artists and receive a private tour of Integrity Music,” said Dr. Megan Hollifield, program director for worship studies at NGU. “This is a unique opportunity for worship students to see the process and production of live recordings at professional level. This is also a great connection for NGU worship students that are interested in worship artistry.”
Dr. Web Drake, dean of NGU’s College of Communication and Fine arts, said he is excited for the students to receive this opportunity.
“Having the opportunity to work with industry professionals is incredible for our students,” he said. “Making these types of connections and doing this kind of work is great experience and great career-builders. Plus, getting to do this type of kingdom-work means everything to them and to Megan (Hollifield).”
