Summer Financial Aid

  • Federal Financial Aid

Limited financial aid is available in the summer term. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours to qualify.

Summer Pell eligibility is available for those that qualify. A student may also utilize any remaining Direct Student Loan eligibility not used during the 2023-2024 school year.

If a student does not have any remaining Direct Loan or Pell eligibility, or if their remaining eligibility does not cover their summer costs, we then recommend considering a Parent PLUS loan.

Qualified residents of South Carolina who met their LIFE, HOPE, or Palmetto Fellows renewal requirements as of the end of the Spring 2023 semester may qualify for a summer disbursement of LIFE or Palmetto Fellows.

Please contact finaid@ngu.edu regarding potential aid eligibility for any of the programs listed above.
