A Master of Education with a Literacy Coach/Literacy Specialist concentration will equip you with the coursework you need to advance your career in the public-school setting. 

  • SC Licensure Endorsements: Through this concentration, the Literacy Coach and Literacy Specialist endorsements can be added to your SC teaching license. To be eligible for these endorsements, you must have five years of teaching experience.
  • Gain Practical Experience: Learn from faculty and practitioners with real world experience and be equipped for the classroom through hands on projects and research. 

*Note: Certified teachers who wish to obtain South Carolina’s Literacy Coach and Literacy Specialist endorsements to their current certificate have the responsibility of contacting the state department upon degree completion to ensure completion of any other requirements for certifications and endorsements.
